Doylestown Hospital’s spacious endoscopy suite is conveniently located in The Pavilion medical office building adjacent to the hospital.  Colonoscopy, a highly effective test used to screen patients for colon cancer, is performed in the endoscopy suite, as well as bronchoscopies to evaluate the lungs.

Our new endoscopy suite includes 14 preparation and recovery areas that serve four procedure rooms. The suite, equipped with the lastest digital technology and designed to maximize privacy, has enabled the hospital to accommodate a dramatically increased need for endoscopy in our community. Family members or a support person may stay with a patient during recovery. 

Last year, Doylestown Hospital physicians performed 8,800 endoscopic procedures including:
