Doylestown Hospital, believing that home health care is a vital part of the total healthcare system, provides coordinated multi-disciplinary health services in the patient's home environment through its Visiting Nurse/Home Care (VN/HC) Department

The VN/HC Department is a hospital-based program providing comprehensive professional services including:

* Registered Nurses Physical Therapists Occupational Therapists

* Home Health Aides Speech Pathologists Social Workers

* Dietician

The VN/HC Department provides services to all age groups. Special programs include Maternal Child Health, and a certified Hospice.

Visits will be made by our professional staff in accordance with doctor's orders. The frequency of visits, as well as the specific services provided may vary, depending on your medical and nursing care needs and your doctor's recommendations.
Medical and Social Services provided professionally and compassionately throughout the Bucks and Eastern Montgomery Counties.

Professional on-call care as planned or needed.  24 hours a day, 7 days a week

VN/HC's hospital base makes it easy to coordinate schedules and standard communication by continually providing referring physicians with patient status and information about further medical needs. In turn, patients benefit from a full continuum of care.

Insurance Coverage

Most VN/HC services are covered by private insurance plans, major medical insurance, HMOs, Medicare and Medical Assistance. Patients without insurance may make arrangements to pay privately, or inquire about special health assistance programs.
